One small box between your heater and the cold

SmartConnect is a rugged controller that installs inline between your Autoterm or Planar heater and its control panel, or replaces the panel entirely. It bridges the heater to the internet over 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth, and hands control to your phone or any web browser.

Fit it once. From then on, the heater answers to you, from the next room or the next country.

It detects which install you've chosen and configures itself.

Every readout that matters, one thumb away

The SmartConnect app puts it all on one screen: whether the heater is running, the cabin temperature you have and the one you want, heater outlet temperature and battery voltage. Nudge the set-point from your sleeping bag, set a schedule so it's already warm when you wake, or check in from the summit.

Control from anywhere

Heat on before you're off the hill, on demand or on a schedule you set in the app. Phone app or web dashboard over 4G (LTE‑M / NB‑IoT), with no WiFi needed at the vehicle.

Live vitals

Heater state, cabin and outlet temperatures, battery voltage and error codes over a live data connection, not an SMS you send and hope. No guessing whether it started. No finding out about a problem when you get back.

Three radios, one link

Campsite WiFi, an onboard router, a Starlink dish: if the vehicle has internet, SmartConnect uses it. Where there's nothing, it's already on 4G.

Fit for the wild

Universal 12 V / 24 V, surge and load-dump protected, in an IP44-sealed enclosure with at-a-glance status LEDs.

Frost protection built in

When cabin temperature nears freezing, SmartConnect starts the heater automatically, protecting water systems, hoses and kit left aboard or in the van without a manual trigger.

Plays well with others

Optional MQTT support publishes every reading to Home Assistant, Node-RED or a fleet dashboard, no bridge hardware required.

Warm on the water, too

The same small box that warms a van in a layby warms a boat on its mooring. On a narrowboat iced into the cut or a yacht swinging off the pontoon, SmartConnect reaches your diesel heater over 4G: no marina WiFi, no cold walk down the towpath to light it.
